At some point everyone desires something that is not their own. Certain people, due to what might be called a shadowy formative context, cross the bar — they actually take what is not theirs. Depending on the item(s), it can be quite a gamble.

Fence Break is an online index of such dark escapades. We are not officially affiliated, but we are quite experienced; our contributors are a mix of both sides of the law (both law enforcement veterans as well as convicted felons).
As for our tone, generally we reserve judgment on pirates — unless the outcome be completely heartless or grizzley. “After all, a look around present-day American institutions should suffice to demonstrate that the character in question has now fully emerged from the underworld and entered the mainstream, where he may be far less colorful and imaginative, but no less on the grift.”
